Seam welding

I'm looking at a golf just now that has been seam welded.  Does this affect value, drivability and cause any issues for me. Any guidance is much appreciated 

Seam welded ie fully welded along every panel seam or stich welded ie welded for an inch or so every inch or so would be welded gap welded gap every inch or so as this is normally done on Motorsport intended cars as it is meant to stiffen the chassis/body wouldn't have thought it would affect the value any would all depend on the car or cause any issues unless you have to change any panels in the future just make sit more involved removing the old panel
