I did post in the Kent group the other day about meeting up with some members, but no one responded.  

Anyhow, I'm based in Sittingbourne, but can often be found in Deal/Dover/Thanet as I know a lot of people down that way.

I saw that Mike, that's why I posted in the general forum as I think (someone correct me if I'm wrong) you can only see the Kent group if you've joined it. I thought there may be more of us fine Kentish Men or Men of Kent (or women) out there in the wider world :-)  Two white GTI Cabriolets, sweet!! I'm in Maidstone by the way. J

We have a date and venue for an initial meet up, last Thurs in the month, 24th April at The Stilebridge public house

Apparently VW decided to drive straight through Kent and head to the capital and elsewhere, ours our those few beloved cars which fell off the transporters on the way through. Either that or everyone in the county has bought Clio's, Saxo's Pug 20whatevertheyares or Fords (it seems like it at times!!!)

There's been a really bad outbreak of Fiat's near me lately.  

Don't worry!! I'm here guys!! Sittingbourne also! Although the cars not ready to be out on the road just yet! Kinda ruined the white theme you guys had going though

I am from the garden of England and have recently treated myself to a mk1 cabriolet. (Newbies End of March).  Unfortunately I can’t see it coming out to play very much this year……   But I will still try and get to the AGM.

Anyways, last year I wandered over to the Summer Wednesdays at Brands Hatch when I could (weather dependent).  It got very busy towards the height of summer.  All sorts over there, from pimply teens with wide boy body kits on their Fiesta’s to perfect American classics.  There was also some very nice mk1’s…..

Thought this might be a good venue / meeting point if anyone is in the area at the time?  Any thoughts?
