Old dude in the Chippy

Decided to have Chippie tea.. daughter rugby practice & the wife taking her, up to see my son (in the cabby) back to see my Bro then home.. chip shop 1st.. an oldish guy was behind me in the queue.. said to the owner 'I wouldn't keep that car out there..' chippy owner said 'what car?' The old guy said 'that beautiful Volkswagen..' other guy said 'it ain' mine' so I smilingly said 'it was mine..' he then said 'that's a nice car' thanks I said, he asked how old it was, I said 30 yr old & he said 'I'm nearly as old as that' got home & made my fish & chips taste better…

Not sure on the 'old' piece I wish I was still in my 30s. Great feeling though no matter how YOUNG you are. Perfect cabby weather also. Enjoy

He was in his 60's, a local regular visitor I think.. so a bit of humour Cabby is fab.. I'm early 40's & don't feel it.. just rolling with it..
