merry christmas fellow golf peeps. Cmon tell us about what you swear solemnly to do to the Golfus of yours this year. I swear to continue prevaricating about fitting a stereo .

I will be refitting my interior when its back from the trimmers around March time.
Taking a summer trip to Chortle for a new roof
Fitting an underseat subwoofer to help the speakers out a bit
Buy new wishbones, get them seam welded and powdercoated black before fitting with new bushes and ball joints
Make an effort to trace my minor oil leak and stop it
And for the sake of my marriage to only work on the car for a max of 2hrs at a time
Oh and an advisory free MOT this year would be great

Refit new standard suspension all round.
New rear beam with disc conversion and completely refurbished callipers
9 inch servo and new master cylinder.
Refit duckbill.
And if I can afford it new stainless exhaust system and have my 4 branch fitted.
Wish me luck.
Happy new year all

Liking the lists so far. Very 'tickable-off'
Mines a bit more vague
Finish the garage
Start and finish Clive (if Lady Borednow has another summer without CLive and top down moroting I'm not going to hear the last of it!)
Mynx - rear wheel bearing, buy and install new tank, get the gear box sorted, re-do the interior
Derby - Get her out of hibernation (she hasn't moved in 13 months now and a bit of fettling including banded steels and a suspension swap.
Oh and re-decorate the rest of the house
Plus, of course, being the best Mod on the site
I think I may be busy!
Happy New Year all
Ian

Great lists so far, and a great thread idea!
I'll just be happy if I can stop being so indecisive when it comes to my Golf (erm… Rabbit).

After having a Spring compressor get loose on me the first time that I used one, the flying spring broke through my Fathers Garage wall…. I can attest to proper use of equipment. I will say how-ever that the second set I did on my Rabbit was similar to the ones pictured, and the keepers that you use to hook the middle of the rod to the spring actually keeps it in check and I have had them move about on me but never break loose.
Yeppers that front spring will take your head off and serious damage to you, your car, or other stationary items will occur.
New Year Resolutions, Job, Family, quitting Ciggies, all come to mind. Cars as needed but the biggie is getting all my how to's converted to PDF's and modified so I can get off of PhotoBucket… I really hate how P-Bucket has taken away my rights to my own photos, and that I can't blanket downloading the different albums that I have but have to do it as separate picks…. The Bastiches.
Then as they use Flash Player to quantify the links, and google and other viewers are getting away from flash player makes it harder and harder to really really like p-bucket.
What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?
They all start with GOOD Grounds.
Where are my DIY Links?

Hmmmm!
Sort out interior, replace rear window frame and fit new roof to project blue. Take for paint, fit the stone protectors, finish the niggley bits and get it up for sale.
My “Rivage LTH” needs rear window winder handles fitting, dizzy going back on.
Paint correction all round and again bits n bobs.
