Moving to Cheshire, need a good mechanic

Hi there all

I am moving from Reading to Cheshire (to a place called Tarporely, in between Crewe and Chester).

I do a lot of my own mechanical work but for major jobs need help. I am leaving my trusted local mechanic and wondered if anyone could recommend me an independent who knows

Mk1 & Mk2 golf
T25 campervan (need a new gearbox and exhaust fitting)
