Mint Mk1 Scirocco for sale at Cars in the Park, Lichfield.

A great show at  Lichfield today hundreds of cars but not many Mk1s, however this really caught my eye.  It's a Scirocco GLS that gas a full nut and bolt restoration and the standard was impeccable. Now the price at £12k may sound a bit steep, but where are you going to find another like this if it is what you are after?  I did take the sellers number if anyone wants it.



 

Looks lovely- but price steepprobably cost that much to do though...

Ha! I passed my test in my dad's scirocco gls just like this one only bronze/gold colour. It was a lovely car….seemed much more solid and refined than the golf. £12k though……..??

Aww - cant believe I missed cars in the park this year, I usually go every year - even showed my Spitfire one year - maybe if the Golf ever gets done i'll take it there!

Exactly the same as the one I owned back in 86. Lovely car but had already suffered with tin worm. Just 7/8 years old yet it had new wings fitted, the inners were showing signs of corrosion, there was a hole in the sill and the back arches were bubbling. Lovely, plush interior in these cars though.
