Ireland Tour 2018 - Co Clare

So we are on the move again… this marks our 6th Ireland Tour and takes us to the Wild Atlantic Way of Co Clare.

Our base for the weekend of September 21-23 is the Cliff of Moher Hotel in Liscannor, Co Clare 0657081924.

The agreed rates are as follows:

Twin / Double rooms

1dbb €99 per person sharing

2bb1d €170 per person sharing

Single Occupancy

1bb €135

1dbb €160

An additional €12.50 charge for each child per night and / or €30 for a premium room with a sea view.

This is a boutique hotel with a small number of room which are reserved until the end of May - please book early to avoid disappointment.

Other accommodation options are available such as B&B in the Liscannor area, please seek out yourself.

Oh how I would love to visit the Mother Country, as My family originated between County Clare and County Mayo, which I suspect is why my family loves Mayonnaise.

Great Great Grandfather county Mayo, and my Great Great Grandmother County Clare.   Great Grandfather was born here, but his wife came from County Clare as
well.

Eire911 Excellent stuff - It was part of our Mk1 Display in Kilkenny when we celebrated the 40th Anniversary. It was on loan from AT Autosytle for the weekend.

A couple of things to note:

Our base is in Liscannor.

The run starts from VW Western Garages in Ennis.

Saturday Lunch is at the Diamond Rock Cafe in Kilkee.

For the Cliffs of Moher book online the slot after 16:00 as its the cheaper price of €4. We won't arrive here until close to this time.

Saturday Dinner at 7pm in Hotel.

Sunday we run up the coast of north Clare and head to a Vintage Show in Belmont, Co Offaly.
