Importing from the Republic of Ireland

Hey guys and gails 

As some of you may know I've been restoring an Irish mk1 jetta for the past 6 years and well hopefully in the next few months, it'll be getting prepped for MOT… that being said, it needs registered in Northern Ireland aka the U.K. 
I've got Irish equivalent of a V5 but need it made into a U.K. Car, how would I go about doing this, getting it registered! Any information would be great as this alone will speed the progress up!
