Hi all,

so when I got the car it had a twin bass box in the boot which leaves no room in the boot for a nat so I'm looking to bed rid of the big bass box and get a smaller version. I've seen that you can get some 'under seat' versions that I would like to put in the boot (so that I don't stand on it) and it's still nicely out of the way.

I'm only looking to get rid as I'm thinking more along the lines of being practical than thumping bass.

On the flip side I have two subs for sale ;) will post details in classifieds section when I've sorted pics etc :)

so my question is have you any experience if underseat subs or do you know any that are a decent make?

Thanks for for the help :)

Hi mate, there is a thread by Pearcestu on here, he has put a kenwood underseat sub in his, with an independant volume control on it, is very good and gives you that elimant of bass but not too much

Mine's great quality and happy with the sound, they are quite powerful for a little sub, the back windscreen vibrates !, on the JL site it will give the size for each sub under the "physical dimensions" section, I was originally going to build mine into the side compartment by the wheel arch, I'll dig a pic out of how I wanted it when I'm back from work if you like.
Cheers

Cool! Yours is slightly different as it's a tin top but I'd like to put it on one side of the boot like in ur first pic.
Cheers dude! Looks nice and compact. Certainly different to what I've got now!

What size are the subs? You could go for an 8" sub in a smaller enclosure which would give the right amount of bass but not overtake all the boot space.

The other idea is a tube, a bit old school I know but I have used one before when I needed to be able to use the space but not all the time.
