ok so i have since got it all in had it running went to take down the road ran great . then was sat ticking over and began to idle bounce ..

now it will start right away tick over great but will not rev up atoll …

the fuel pressure regulator is making a bit of noise but would this just stop working ..

i noticed when i was putting fuel lines on testing flow ect .. that it was feeding the fuel rail . but nothing was coming out the return …

but now its coming out the return as fast as its going in .. is this normal or has the regulator gone causing low fuel pressure ? …

pin 6 is fuel pump live, i plumb that to the male spade on E/14 (factory gti rear loom) but check the wire on this spade is man enough sometimes a bit weedy. you coudl user the large spade N instead with an inline fuse if you prefer. I'd feed the lambda power from the same feed as pin 6 of the T10 :)

pin 5 i would put to spade N either way, this will make it the same as how mk1/2/3 fuel injection cars are factory.

N (and Z/1 on CE2) isnt fused as I say, factory mk1/2/3 with fuel injection dont have a fuse for the fuel injectors. though i would try to fuse pin 6 as it has a few other bits running off it which could get damaged, as well as the lambda as its location near the hot exhaust low down makes it more prone to damage.

but then again if you look at the later VR6 wiring pretty much non of the engine electrics are fused, maf, throttle body, ecu etc all fed off Z/1 and no fuse for any of it.
