Help! Looking for CNC66Y Green MK1

Any help trying to find this Golf would be really appreciated. picture from another thread on here…. Thanks

MOT ran out August 2015 but is marked as SORN.
Looks like it’s had some work or will need work looking at the MOT history.
You can apply for info using the form V888 from the DVLA.
Buy you’d need a valid reason for them to disclose the details of the keeper.

Give you a bit of info from my experience with DVLA.
This led me to be reunited with a car I owned from nearly new.

What I found was to complete the V88 form and then enclose a letter for the current owner to say you used to be the previous owner and wondered if he/she ever wanted to sell it that you'd be interest in first refusal. Perhaps enclose a photo of the car when you owned it and make it "passionate" - Where there's space on the V88 form ask DVLA to forward the letter onto the registered keeper.I think you need to include a cheque /Postal order for £5.

Put this letter in a stamped blank envelope, don't seal it though as DVLA need to read it to ensure your not been offensive or derogatory/personal etc. 

They then, at their discretion, will post it on for you, giving the current owner/keeper opportunity to contact you.
Ensure your letter has your contact details of full address, email and phone number.

I've been desperate to find my old Mk1 Gti but it's not on SORN so DVLA wrote back to say they won't send any correspondence due to the passage of time and it's not an active SORN - ie owner could be deceased etc ….

It worked for me so good luck 👍
