One of the older fellas in my local had a ride in my mk1 for the first time last night and talked flat out about his golf he had in the 80s, I gave him a lift home and I asked him if he knew the Reg, turns out the car is taxed and mot'd

It is 1984 1.8 gti, originally white!

If anyone knows it's whereabouts that would be great, I think just seeing a photo of it would make his year!
