GTI Injectors

Not sure if this is in the right section (apologies if not) can anybody recommend somebody who can test and possibly refurbish mechanical injectors for a 1989 GTI?

ideally South Wales area but any recommendations would be great.

Cheers for the responds mate, I've had look in the how tog guides and think it's a job outside my capabilities so would rather send them off to somebody. Have you got the name of the chap/garage in abercynon?

You can check the spray pattern and amount delivered fairly easily yourself.
Because they open only under pressure it is virtually impossible to clean them as reverse flushing is not possible - best to just buy new ones if the spray pattern is bad.
If the delivery is imbalanced, try swapping them around to different pipes as it might be the metering head tag is causing that
