Front seats rocking

Post

Hi guys. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice. Basically the previous owner has put audi seats in my golf cabby. Since I've had it both front seats rock forward and back. I've had a look and took them out and out them back in but they still seem to rock.
Has anyone ever come across this before.?

Thanks taron

When you say "Audi", which ones? Do they run on the original runners (unlikely) or were the seats cut off and welded onto a set of mk1 golf runners? If so, then its possible you're missing the plastic parts which should be clipped to the runner to stop it rocking.

Or the rubber bit at the front which the bolt passes through and spring clips to.

There Audi tt seats. I think they have welded them on to mk1 runners. They've done a good job but it keeps rocking.
Do you think I should get hold of seat runner parts. Like the spring and clips?! Basically all new Gubbings for the seat area?

I know I don't have this on it as every time I adjust my seat it rubs metal on metal. Where could I get these bits from?
