I'm after new tyres. The car is on 14 inch black and polished Avus / Snowflake wheels. The tyres on it are 175/65/14 but everything I've read online suggest 185/65/14 is the correct size. Any thoughts from the collective?

For the 14 inch Avus wheels the tyres should be 185/60 R14.
This the correct size VW would of fitted from new.

Thanks. That's what I thought but I couldn't fathom why anyone would get premium branded tyres but in a smaller size than standard.

I've got 4 Goodyear efficient grip performance tyres on my car which I'm finding great, good grip in the wet and dry and seem to lasting very well, my cars a daily drive so used in all weathers.
Tyres have gone up in price in the last year so shop around.
