Cheap Coilovers?

looking to get some cheap coilovers. Only going to be used just to lower the car, nothing else.
any suggestions on any makes ect? Im clueless haha

If you must.. i have heard that JOM okay for the money. Maybe a bit more than the cheapest but they are meant to ride a lot better.

Honestly its not worth going for cheap with suspension components you can end up ruining the car for the sake of maybe a £100 or so. If anything invest in some quality plus poly bushes, it'll be worth it. IMHO :-)

I have just got some TA Techinx from Hot Tuning, they are a firm ride and cheap.

My last set were great, no problems

Had a set of JOM on mine for 5 years now, were very harsh to start with, now done 60,000 miles on them and they are OK!:cool: They are OK for how much they cost, just depends if you can cope with your head hitting the roof, or going above the windscreen with the roof down in the cabby lol.

just get em from ebay they are cheap enough

Mine were from Venom I think  - Venom Motorsport Performance Car Parts - EBC Brakes, Black Diamond Brakes, FK Suspension, Eibach Suspension, Weitec Suspension, Supersport Suspension

I swapped mine for a set of lowering springs that owed me £20  :) , and the JOM were only 2 months old  :)

As Anna said Venom, ebay, E38 parts section, mk1oc parts section also give funk-star a shout in case he has some coilovers in stock or @golfbitz might have some in stock

Jom aren't to bad if you have them at a certain height, but low low they are horrible on my mk2, I have FK on my mk1 and they are spot on :cool:
