BLOODY HORN and also water temp appears to be continually flashing

Hi MK1 nuts

So the horn stopped working

Checked the usual, Horn works when bridged with earth, and have cleaned connections on steering rack. plus checked it has a good earth,

It appears that the earth cant get up from the earth screw up through rack to wheel.

Also my water temp light keeps flashing for a long time when ignition is on.


PLEASE HELP! 

Cleaned all earth points . Not just the steering col, seems to have fixed flashing light also
