Announcement: Club team updates!

Hi all,

Just a quick update to let you know that there have been some changes in the team behind running the club;

Graham Welch has stepped down from his position as Club Treasurer after a very long stint and will be taking a new team role as Club Historian. This role will be to ensure that we're documenting information for future MK1 owners and collating everything that happens with the club, what awards we win, what trophies we win at shows and all the interesting things we do every year!

Neil Butler has taken over as Club Treasurer. Over the last couple of years Neil and his wife Rachel (and daughter Evie) have become more and more involved in the club with supporting us at various shows. Neil offered his services last year at the NEC in November and with that Graham got the yearly accounts sorted and Neil is now getting stuck in!

Dan Hinton joined us last year as Marketing Manager. He runs his own business, a Design agency, so he brings a great wealth of knowledge to the club and is flying in his new role.

Mike Jacobs, who we all know very well being our top poster on the forum for the last number of years, has taken over Carl Chorley's role as Moderator Manager / Web Support. Mike is a great fit for the team being so active and previous experience in the technology space. Carl will still be very much part of the club and we wish him all the best with his car hood business.

Adam and Connie White are also joining us in the Merchandise Manager role, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled as we will have some new merch in the not too distant future!

We have also been approached by Sam Albert who has offered his time to help with events. We have created an 'Events Support' role to make sure we can spread the load and make our presence at shows the best they can be.
