indicators not working
Hi All
I need some help.
my indicators have stopped working. the hazard flashers work ok, but the indicator light on the instrument cluster is always half illuminated, and when i try to use the indicators they dont flash but the light on the cluster lights up.
i have purchased a new hazard flasher switch and the problem remains.
any ideas what could be doing it?

Im in no way an expert, but i had problems with my indicators. Check all the relevant fuses are working, then check the wiring to the hazard switch, theres a little brown one that can often be a problem!

Sounds like a bad earth issue, although I've had a faulty bulb give similar issue's. I've posted a 'pin out' wiring guide this morning which may help. Meanwhile, I should check the connections on your back lights, especially the earths. And check the earths near the steering column as well. Hope you get it sorted.

Might have covered this already, but recheck fuse 19, preferably with a multimeter.
Push hazard switch in half way, do they start working?

This happens so often.
Richievr is spot on. There is a single wire to the hazard switch that is often pulled off when you pull the switch out of the dash, it drops down and shorts to the dash metalwork and then blows a fuse.
Worth disconnecting you battery before you go routing for it as almost certainly you will blow a fuse otherwise.
