A Porsche replacement heater valve

Post

On a different forum a fellow posted that he has swapped over to a Porsche Heater Valve and it reduces the Throw difficulty of the hot/cold slider.

It is more inline with the older vane type of slider that was installed on my 81 Diesel, I may have to try one, the issue I have is it is more than twice the price of the "remade" square style…..

I have found an all metal one that says it is a replacement but its cable isn't 90 degrees to the valve.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Where are my DIY Links?

Hmmmmm

Interesting, I've been looking for something to replace my leaky original one for my 'clutterless' engine bay so I don't need to drill a hole i welded up.

There's also a vacuum operated one. I wonder how that works  O_o
