Settling In
My car needs a complete engine tuning, new front and rear brakes, drums, shoes, cable etc.
I'am new to this… so please be kind!. I have an 1989 Golf GTI MK1 Cabriolet and I'am looking for a trusted mechanic who understand VW golf engines.
1- My car needs a full engine tuning
2- When the car is in gear is sometime jerky
3- Some vibration when the clutch pedal is pressed.
4- the revs counter jumps up and down when stand still and driving
5- Hand brake light do not come on
I'am also looking to upgrade all brakes, front and rear with new drum, shoes, springs cable etc.
Please can someone help? based London-Croydon. I have attached a picture of my classic MK1
