Daily runner tintop or caddy 2k budget

Hi all,

I am looking for a mk1 caddy or tintop (3 door preferable) manual that can be driven away (after paying of course). Not bothered about fancy mods just a relaible steed to get me from work and back. My budget is £2k and I am located in Kilsby Warwickshire.

My current cabby is off the road at the moment poorly and because of the weather I haven't had the opportunity to get her fit. I've been fortunate to borrow my dads car for time being but I don't wanna take too much advantage. I am selling a 2000 Husqvarna SM 610 supermoto if anyone is interested.

You interested in a Lido green 1980 1.3 in mostly original paint?
Needs rear arches doing and a tidy up but runs like a Rolex.
Got leather mk1 Gti seats, weber carb, sweet little car

Drat….our Clipper is an automatic, we are thinking of selling it, excellent runner,excellent mohair roof, new brakes and exhaust and WILL have new mot next week….but we would want nearly £2k…

She is good to go, MOT expired in November but can get that renewed, £1500 drive away
