A Reg Mk1 GTi Tintop wanted for restoration.

Having Been away from Mk1's for a While i think i need to take the plunge and get one while i still can.

I would like Lhasa Green or a White one but beggers cant be choosers!   as a gauge there was a White A reg sold within the last 3 months for £500 also a Lhasa Green one forsale at £1000.
as i said i'm not looking for a minter just something complete. and saveable! .

Helios Blue Campaign on cat D partially stripped but good shell, still has glass, p slots, dash and seats, rear discs, roof solid, gutters a bit squashed where it was lifted with chains.

i don't like Helious Blue it would be the last choice in colour, but as i said beggers cant be choosers! lol

It was pinched in 1999 and had the wheels nicked then left belly down in a school field, the guy who owned it tried to prosecute the recovery company for the damage to the roof.
I can send you a copy of the insurance company letter stating that he had been paid out as a total loss and that he would just need to get a valid MOT to get it registered again so I just presumed that would mean it would be a Cat D? I also have the back section of the V5
I have started taking engine stuff from under the bonnet last weekend as I intended to break it for parts, interior is partly missing, all carpets, centre console, parcel shelf, clocks gone but all switches there, original seats and steering wheel, it has a hooooj exhaust system, 2 new wings although they have a few pop out dents as do the doors, new front and rear panel, roof is solid which is unusual for a sunroof car, he must have never used it!
Come see by all means but price not negotiable, got lots of interest in spares

Solid except for roof. Got abf conversion
Lots of +s but needs tlc
