Desciption.
Here we have my 1990 Clipper.I bought it at the beginning of the year with no MOT & needing some TLC.I have replaced the filler neck and cleaned the petrol tank which cured its problem of breaking down after a couple of miles.Sorted the replacement Webber carb,a couple of new brake pipes & tyres & gave it a good valet.I have not got round to changing the gear linkage,selection is no problem but it could be tighter & the left cv joint is noisey.
It has been lowered with 195/45/15 tyres and G60 rims.The Black Mohair hood was replaced in 2004 for ?385.the webber carb, mounting bracket plus odds and sods bought in 2008 for ?360.Head gasket,cambelt,waterpump,radiator replaced with the head skimmed in 2007 for ?809!!.Plus various other receipts.I am reluctantly selling due to the wife unable to drive it as it has no power steering,a cable clutch and lowered which ain't a bad thing.I rarely use it as I travel to work by motorcycle and do not have a lot of time off.
Just to mention when it pours with rain the front passenger well gets damp,the previous owner had it in his garage but i do not have that luxury.I am unable to post any photos but if your interested just email & I will send you plenty.YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. David
