Hi,  I bought this car a little over a month ago but due to a change in circumstances she has to go. I'm selling her at pretty much cost. The car is Not a GTi but has GTi badges at the front and rear. Very cheap to insure under classic car insurance (I'm paying £261).

It is a quick little car previous owner had put a high ratio gear box in around 4 years ago. The car is used everyday and drives very well.

The car sailed through the MOT and has 14" 5 spoke Alloy wheels which are in good condition but tyres need replacing because the previous owner had her garaged for a year and the tyre walls are cracking.

It has a manual roof which was replaced 3 years ago - Good condition with no leaks however there is a little scratch/ tear on drivers rear. Comes with a cream roof cover (tournea cover).

The interior is decent and the seats were taken out and cleaned by the previous owner which are in decent condition but has some wear.

Comes with a MOMO steering wheel with Boss which is nice.

The car looks amazing in the sun and is a real head turner. The body work is good but does have some lacquer flaking off on the bonnet and around the windscreen on the top. It has a few dings here and there where it has been parked up but nothing that can't be sorted. The car has been respayed with all the door and boot shuts but not under the bonnet and inside the boot.

I had the car on a ramp and couldn't see any rust underneath but has a few small rust patches around the car but again nothing that can't be fixed.

16 owners but the car is 23 years old.

Grab yourself a beautiful looking Mk1 convertible car and stand out from the crowd. They will never look old or out of place. Cheap to insure. Easy to fix if anything ever goes wrong with it and parts are dirt cheap. This is a manual car which is loads of fun to drive and both the roof and windows are manual which means you shouldn't have any costly repairs in the near future.

She is a lovely little runner with long MOT and Tax and i'll be sad to let her go. It has been pleasure to drive her everyday but due to an expanding family she has to go. The car was going to be my toy for the next few years. Honestly she is a great car and only needs a few minor things doing like fixing the drivers side lock/ handle and the boot lock. The only other issue is the heater. It does work but not very well. All she needs it a little bit of TLC. Other then these everything works very well.

By all means feel free to ask any questions or view the car.
