Hey all, due to my partner learning to drive and needing to get her a car, i now need to sell the Golf so i can buy something she can insure and drive daily.

1992 VW Golf Clipper Cabriolet in VW Inca Blue LK5T

Currently on 109700 Miles (I bought in Feb this year on 108700 Miles) and have done 1000 miles trouble free motoring.

Loads of service history and previous Mots

Myself and the previous owner (4yrs) have garaged the car in our ownership and its only out in the wet when we've been caught out.

Fitted with Powerflow Stainless Exhaust
Fitted with Manual Weber Carb
New clutch cable
16" RH Cup Alloys in Black and Silver (unmarked all round) 175-50-16 Front 195-45-16 Rear
Lowered 40mm on shocks and springs
Electric Hood - Recently replaced (approx 2yrs ago) in very very good condition with no rips tears holes etc
Factory fitted Black Leather Interior (very rare in this style) no bolster wear
Full black Dashboard and Doorcards
Sony Double Din DVD stereo system (heating contols relocated to ashtray location)
Electric Front Windows
Cobra Remote alarm and central locking with 2 fobs and keys (all keys are the same)
Bootlid has been smoothed off by a previous owner and debadged with interior boot solenoid fitted to open it

Car is currently Sorned and MOT has just run out however i will put 12months MOT on for new owner

Couple of Minors as you would expect

Patch of rust on A Pillar (Quoted £200 to £250 to repair)
Rear window Drips in (very small) When Rain is very very hard (needs glass removing and re sealing back in place)
Usual small dents and marks around car however for a 20 yr old car i think they no where reflect its age


This car is my pride and joy and i do not want to sell it. I am only selling due to being unable to afford to run it as a 3rd car and would like some one to get the use out of it that it deserves. It is used in good weather only and cleaned every time it comes out.
The car was professionally detailed earlier this year and the paintwork is very very good with hardly any swirls in it at all.

I will not take any stupid offers at all. If it doesn't sell it will be stored over winter and i won't lose any sleep over it at all.

I Want £2695 which is very reasonable for its condition.
