Description: enthusiast owned mk1,I have owned this great car for 18 months now and being a car enthusiast I have gone through the car overhauling many of the known problems with the Golf MK1 convertible.

In the time I have had the car I have replaced all of the brake pipes (rigid and flexible pipes along with rear brake cylinders). At the same time I replaced both of the rigid fuel pipes. I have replaced the fuel filler neck and cleaned out the fuel tank. The Pierberg carb has been replaced with a manual choke Webber.

The suspension has been replaced with a Jamex Sportline suspension kit.

I have replaced the cambelt, water pump, radiator and thermostat as well as fitting a new battery.

The hood was replaced last winter with a maroon vinyl roof with all new cables.

The interior is in good condition without the usual holes in the drivers seat bolster.

The car has a Clifford Concept 300 alarm and a single disc CD player fitted.

The bodywork is in good condition for its age with a few small rust spots and a few small scuffs on the bumpers.

The wheels are OZ Saturn's with all good tyres.
