I bought this last week would you believe, more on a whim than anything else. I have now realised that this lovely old car is no way suitable for my needs as I commute from Kent to Liverpool every weekend to see my kids and this car is not going to be up to the kind of mileage I do  

I love MK1's, and truely thought I can make one work for me, but alas it has to go. I drove up to Liverpool and back last weekend and it performed really well, with no drama's and proved very economical.

So regretably back up for sale, all the details as per the original advert guys
