Sportline for sale

Could do with a quick sale on this as I have seen my next vdub! price now ?2,250 with all sensible offers considered

OK now my Sportline is definitely up for sale. I have done all the bits I have needed to do. She now has 12 months MOT and 6 months Tax.

So she is a 1993 Mk1 golf Sportline cabriolet with 150,000 on the clock.

I have owned the car for just over a year and she has served me well. Few things I have done since I have had her: brand new mohair roof, brand new set of VW injectors, brand new fuel tank and filler neck to name a few.

The bad bits:
After having the valve stem seals done about a 6 months ago she is starting to blow blue smoke again on idle. Valve guides?
few cigarette burns in the seats from previous owners. Thats about it.

She failed the MOT on steering rack mount fracture (common apparently), a missing drive shaft bolt (i have replaced all 6 on the offending shaft) and rear brake force - all done and she flew through the retest.

originally I was hoping to get near what I paid for her a year ago (?2,800) but unfortunately some numpty hit the car whilst it was parked and didnt leave any details or anything! I have been quoted between ?250-?500 to sort it out so I thought I would adjust the price accodingly. there for she is up for sale at ?2,250 with all sensible offers considered.

Just sold last night! for alot less then I was hoping! I am gla dthough as its gone to a mechanic and he is gonna do the necessary to get it spot on.
