1989 Mk1 Caddy. White. 73800miles, 1.6 petrol, tax till November, mot till mid June.



Not perfect but good body with very little rust, no holes. Bed is very good with wood slats that are stuck on, not screwed, so no holes. Also have a good tonneau cover.

Very reliable & good on fuel. I've been using it daily since I got it. It's slammed on coilovers & a flipped axle plus lowering blocks. I fitted new 1.6gti discs & pads & a new exhaust about 3000 miles ago & did cv boots one side about 2000 miles ago. Other than that I've just driven it. Only things that need doing are the dash light for the indicators only works when it feels like it, this doesn't affect the actual indicators. The carb idle circuit needs fiddling with as it idles fast unless it's really hot, this is common for the standard pieburg carb. It doesn't seem to have any affect on fuel consumption, I still get an easy 350 to 400 miles to the tank depending on what journeys I do. Also someone knocked one of the rear reflectors off & it broke the mounting bosses. It pulls slightly to the left, but brakes in a straight line.

It comes with P-slots, freshly refurbed in black & polish with new (1000miles) 195-45-14 falkens.
