As many of you will know, The Series 1, MK1 Golf GTI is a very rare car. This is a 79' 4 speed that was registered in September of that year, therfore, making it one of the very first of the uk cars.

Originally sold on the 2nd October 1979 from West Sussex Motors in Worthing this very early RHD 1.6 4-Speed GTI is solid and original

There is not many series 1 GTIs left on the road let alone in such original condition.

The car has all of the early features - small back lights, early twin dial dash and 3 spoke steering wheel, screw in non locking fuel filler cap (filler neck is solid and rust free) orginal tartan seats and shag pile carpets, very good headlining (just 1 minor tear near the boot lid), original early alloys.
