My Rivage daily driver is sadly for sale

Dear All,

I've just put my Rivage up for sale, with 68,000 miles on the clock. It's currently on autotrader at the moment.  As I want to be honest about the sale it has picked up a couple of scratches since I bought back in April on the offside arches which I am happy to take into account in the price.  Since I bought I have had a ?1000 of work done to it including a new clutch & cable, rear wheel bearings, full service, tracking, brake pipe, brand new VW fuel filler neck etc.  I'm looking for ?3,850 ono but am open to sensible offers.

I'll post some more details soon but for the meantime please see the ad on autotrader.

Sorry to see you're selling.  If I were you I would take the arches off and drop them in at a bodyshop and get them sorted, wont cost much and make it more saleable.

That's good advice, there's a few places round locally, so i'll have to go get some quotes!

Thanks for that robdcfc1!  I'll give you a shout if I decide to get the work done, but am in need of a quick sale…

Just to let everyone know (not that anyone seems to be interested!!), the price has been dropped to ?3,500  - offers still considered as I desperately need a larger/family sized car.
