mk1gti cabrio white(small bumpers)taxed and tested

i have had the car for 7 years during which time i have re-upholstered the interior(£500),refurbed the engine(£800)replaced the fuel filler neck,replaced exhaust,new radiator,new tyres..basically anything required has been seen to.it is white with small normal black bumpers and black wheel arches.the roof is the original white(ish) doesn`t leak but shows signs of age where folded. i usually use it with the roof down in summer. it has a white hood cover for when folded. the car was agreed valued by photo when i first bought it at £2000 for insurance purposes and is insured on a classic policy for about £120 per year(or maybe it`s cheap cos i`m old!)

the car is kept garaged during the winter(in fact most of the time..hence reason for sale!)
decided it should be driven not stored…

anyway it`s a good car and welcome to test drive kick tyres etc here in sheffield.
judging by what i saw when i was buying this car if you see this you will be happy,

was hoping for around £1500 but open to any reasonable offers.
