MK1Golf Cabriolet GTi

Ok, selling this because I need something newer and more economical. If I could afford two cars I would never sell this!

Spec:
-1984 Mark 1 Golf GTi Cabriolet
-Mars Red
-Brand New Clutch and cable as of May 2010
-Full engine rebuild in 2004 done by TSR, all receipts to prove this
-120,000k before rebuild, dash now shows 38,744 since the rebuild
-CD Player
-Manual Roof, brand new five years ago so the seams all around are tight with no leaking what so ever!!
-MOT until May 2011
-Taxed until August 2010
-Category 1 alarm fitted
-I have a whole folder full of service history dating back to the 90's

Good points:
Given the age of the car there is so little rust, this was half the reason I bought it. Everything is standard on the interior apart from an '8' ball gear knob but do still have the original and speakers in the door cards. As I said above, new clutch and cable so should have miles of life in it and generally a really good car in fantastic condition. Category one alarm which is very good! The roof is in awesome condition as was replaced a while back, no leaks!

Bad points:
Slight oil leak from the engine, drivers seat is a ripped on the seat and arms, Cable on the passengers seat has broken therefore you need both hands to operate the seat. The bushes on the gears will need doing sometime soon but relatively simple and cheap job as far as I am aware.

As I said, if I could afford two cars I would never be selling this. Looking for something relatively quick in terms of sale… price I would like is £1900 as I think for the condition its in is worth it however am more than happy with offers or if any body has any opinions will listen to those aswell!
Alternatively would definitely consider PX for something newer, have been looking at passats/boras etc so let me know what you have!
