Mk1 gti cabby 16v engine on twin 45s last price £1500 :(

Hiya guys , sorry for my first post being a for sale add , i am not much on an vw man usually !! just thought i would give you guys a chance to be what i would consider to be a very nice ( and interesting ) little car !!

The car is a B reg , karmen gti convertible in grey .

BODYWORK ;the grey body is in lovely condition with only the odd mark here and there / no rust or rott. she has a debadged single light grille and a front spoiler .

WHEELS &TYRES  are 15 inch alloys with good tyress ( goodrich tyres)


SUSPENSION . Fully adgustable jamex coilovers all around . it also looks to have had a few replaced polybushes underneith aswell .

EXHUAST if full stainless powerflow



ENGINE & GBOX Now visible in the engine bay is a 1.8 16v mk2 engine on twin 45 dellorto carbs , the reason i say visible is because i have no recipts for any other bits the previous owner said it has had . when i purchased the car he explained that it been built by a pro street racer down south and also fitted was a ported and flowed head and cams . again this would be up to you to check if you wished to no for sure . i personally belive it could be true as there really wasnt any reason to lie after i had already bought the car !!!! The car is mated up to a 5 speed gbox .

i have seen plenty of engine conversions in the past so i know a good install when i see one and this certainly is a good install .this is a very quick little car                 

There is a few bits that need doing but i think i have more than accomadated this in the price . 2 very small chips in window screen that i think autoglass could fix, there is a 1" size chunk in one of the door cards and the speaker is missing , there is also no cd player . Also the speedo does not work !!
