MK1 GTi 81 1.6 For sale project

Loosing my storage space for this so unfortunatly she has to go.
81 1.6 GTi Mars red
she is a project car, I did start but time money and space ment she has been parked for a year
For a full works done on her she will need
Sills
Rear arches
filler neck
rear valance
rear corners
one front wing
fuel filler area

Good new is, she comes with all the panels to do this apart from a front wing.

She has had the front inner wings replace, front valance/slam panel and 2 wings put onto her, but the front got dinted crushing the front edge of the wing and denting the slam panel, nothing major should pull out.

Unfortunatly due to the amount of rust at the front end, and having little to go by the wings and bonnet do need re-alligning, nothing an angle grinded wont sort out

1.6 engine ran sweet as a nut untill the fuel pump stopped working, played with aswell, I think a p/o put a better cam in there, as she screamed through the gears and revs and would put a 1.8GTi to shame

Fuel pump has gone, but I had all new high pressure fuel hoses fitted on just before, at the fuel pump end and the metering head end

smoked headlights

Interior is in ok condition, some trim bits have been snapped and the drivers seat has worn, and missing 2 door cards

needs a new front bumper

sunroof, not factory fit aftermarket by p/o

Stolen and recovered back in the 90s, I had it hpi`d and checked with the insurance company that they dont own the car

new brakes before coming of the road, got new drums to go with the car, never fitted
