Mk1 GTI 1.8 - mega history, original, lots of new parts

YOU CAN'T BUY HISTORY!
A very Original and genuine Mk1 GTi + loads of spares.
As close to 'straight out the factory' as you can get except for a bit of rust - I don't think that was a factory option!!!
Loads of service history, every MOT cert' from 1983, except 2011 as I did not MOT her.
Have old bills of sale, old sale adverts, basically an A4 folder full of stuff relating to this car. Receipts for servicing and other work done.
No MOT at present as plan was/is to paint her but some people prefer originality, hence the advert BERFORE I do this.
Only 5 previous owners, one had it for 15 years.
It has the original radio in the car. It has the original keys AND original spare key. It has a golf ball gear knob.
144k on the clock.
The interior is as standard and in the stripy red colour, some wear and tear on driver's seat bolster.
Door cards are perfect, no speaker holes cut out!
Little spot of rust on passenger door. Odd bits of rust on arches/bottom of door.
Small dent on boot lid and rust where dent is - I have a new boot lid.
Unfortunately, it does have a sunroof!
All this would need is a paintjob and you could ask top money, £4k+ easy.
How many do you see with ALL the history to back it up?
This would be the perfect car to restore to OEM as everything is original.
Starts every time.
No tax at present.
No rusty fuel filler pipe.
Spare wheel well has a slight hole but not as bad as most I have seen.
Will take very near offer but the price is £2000, if you can't afford that/don't think it's worth it then don't call.
I am not desperate for the money, I am not unemployed but I do have a 2nd child on the way and need to reduce my 'collection'.
Not listed on fleaBay as I want it to go to a collector/someone with a passion for the marque.
If not sold then I will paint it. I have every part needed for the resto:
NEW waistline side trim
NEW sill trim
NEW bumpers - front and rear
NEW front badges (VW and GTI)
NEW rear badges (Volkswagen and Golf GTi)
NEW number plate hanger
NEW front grill
NEW front red grill trim
NEW clutch plate
NEW front duckbill spoiler
NEW front orange indicator lenses
NEW side stickers - thick black lines
NEW rear boot inner sticker - thick black one that goes around the glass
All the above parts are in the car and have not been put on yet, the original parts have been removed.

This is not rotten, I took my uncle with me to view her when I bought her. He's been a panel beater for over 30 years and if he had said it was rotten then I would not have bought it.
