 Description:

For sale is my lovely Mk1 Golf Rivage, 1992 on a K plate.  The previous owner was a (female) friend and prior to that it was owned by another lady since 1999.  It's been my 3rd car over the summer and I've loved it but I've got my eye on something more modern.

I'm sure anyone interested will already know but it's the top rivage spec with heated cream leather, electric windows, electric hood, MFA (trip computer), really sweet alloy wheels and much more.  It really is the best Mk1 Golf I've seen/driven.  The 8v engine sounds wonderful and pulls like a train.  It handles great once you get past the lack of power steering.

There is an Alpine stereo which plays MP3 CDs.  It has a Cobra alarm and immobiliser.

Faults?  Not many.  I've just replaced the battery and the fuel pump relay.  There is some rust around the door handles from where the car was broken into many, many years ago.  It doesn't affect their function but purists would want to repair it.  It drives spot on.  

The roof?  Unlike pretty much every Mk1 Cab I've seen, the roof is perfect.  It was replaced fairly recently at great expense and has no rips or tears.  It's 100% water tight.  I also have the matching cream leather cover for it.

I've got plenty of history with it.  It passed the last MOT and the one before that with no advisories.
