VW Mk1 Golf GTi Cabriolet - 1988 (F) Helios Blue

Lots of service history from local Vw dealer, I?ve put ?1000s into the car to get her to handle and run the way she does. MOT till the end of September (new one can be put on if buyer would like), Taxed till the end of October, and the best thing ? you can get it on classic insurance!

This car has been my daily driver for almost 3 years, and runs superbly, you wouldn?t know this car was nearly 19 years old!!! It?s been washed and valeted every weekend and has always had ?proper? fuel put in. (Shell Optimax/V-power or BP Ultimate)

Engine
Mk2 Golf Gti 1781 8v
Car mileage is 110,000; replacement mk2 engine has done 98,000 ? low for year. Mileage will change as I?m still using the car.
Recent Full service (last month) including cam belt change, new filler neck and cleaning out fuel tank. 2 New fuel pumps (external + internal)
K&N panel filter
New starter motor, alternator and battery, radiator, updated fan, work carried out 2005 and 2006 (receipts to prove)
Wiring, all replaced, cleaned etc
16v warm up regulator

Chassis
Helios blue, full re-spray December 2006, this involved removing doors, windscreen etc. proper job. 2 new front wings and new drivers? door.   
15? Team dynamic Monza alloy wheels with continental 195/50 tyres
Brand new black mohair roof fitted last month. Including new rear window frame - all costing ?500

Fully colour coded body kit (bumpers, skirts and arches)
Grey torneu hood cover to use when hood is down, which is in good condition
Supersprint stainless steel straight through exhaust system, costing over ?300
Electric aerial
De-badged front grill ? also have twin light grill
Clear rear lights
Crystal cross hair front headlights
Bilstein shocks and springs, bumpstops etc ? lowered by 35mm, handles a dream.
