HERE WE HAVE UP FOR SALE MY 1990 MK1 GOLF CABRIO £1250. I'VE OWNED THIS MOTOR ABOUT 4 YEARS NOW BUT IT WAS TAKEN OFF THE ROAD ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO AS I DIDNT WANT THE MISSUS DRIVING IT AS I HAD A WORKS VAN SO IT WAS TAKEN OFF THE ROAD AND I BOUGHT HER A BMW TO USE AND IT WAS A BIT MORE FAMILY FRIENDLY.
I HAD PLANNED ON PUTTING LEATHER INTERIOR IN IT AND A FEW OTHER BITS AND BOBS BUT IVE JUST NEVER HAD THE TIME AND NOW WITH ME WANTING A CORRADO VR6 THE MISSUS SAYS BOTH MY CABRIOS HAVE TO GO AND I'VE JUST SOLD MY MK3.5 CABRIO SO MY MK1 IS NOW FOR SALE AS I'VE FOUND A VR6 CORRADO I WANT.
THE CAR AS ITS BEEN STANDING FOR 2 YEARS HAS NO TAX OR MOT BUT HAD NEARLY 8 MONTHS MOT LEFT WHEN I TOOK IT OFF THE ROAD AND PERSONALLY WOULDN'T NEED NOTHING MAJOR FOR A MOT WHICH IF IT DONT SELL I'LL BE TAXING AND MOT'ING MYSELF AND SELLING FOR ALOT MORE IN THE SUMMER. IT STARTS FIRST TURN OF THE KEY EVERYTIME I START IT UP AND LET IT RUN FOR 10/15 MINS.
THE CAR IS VERY MUCH ORIGINAL AND FOR ITS AGE VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH THE ONLY MODIFICATION BEING THE REMOVAL OF THE DOOR SPEAKER PODS AND BETTER ONES FITTED AT A COST OF £235 APART FROM THAT ITS ALL ORIGINAL.
THE CAR COMES WITH A FOLDER FULL OF RECEIPTS AND SERVICE HISTORY WITH A STAMPED UP BOOK TO 88000 MILES AND RECEIPTS FOR OTHER SERVICES NAD PARTS AFTER THAT AND IT ALSO HAS 2 SETS OF KEYS AND ALARM FOBS AND IMMOBILIZER FOBS.
THE ONLY FAULTS WITH THE CAR IS IS HAS A ROTTON PETROL FILLER PIPE WHICH IS A COMMON FAULT AND EASY FIX AND THERES A SCUFF ON FRONT BUMPER WHICH SOMEONE KINDLY LEFT WHILE IT WAS IN A CAR PARK WHILE I WAS ON HOLIDAY AND THERE IS A LITTLE AND I MEAN LITTLE RUST SPOT ON THE PASSENGER DOOR.
OVERALL THIS IS A GREAT ORIGINAL MOTOR AND IT SITTING ON MY DRIVE DOES IT NO JUSTICE IT DESERVES TO BE BACK ON THE ROAD AND WITH A SERVICE AND SOME TLC IT'LL FLY THROUGH A MOT AND BE WORTH A PRETTY PENNY. I WONT BE GIVING IT AWAY. 
THE CAR IS NOW SAT ON A SET OF MK2 GOLF 13" STEEL WHEELS WITH VERY GOOD TYRES AS I'VE NOW SOLD THE ORIGINAL BBS ALLOYS.
THE AUCTION START PRICE IS A GIVE AWAY IF I SAY SO MYSELF FOR SUCH A ROT FREE ORIGINAL EXAMPLE SO SOMEONE SHOULD GET THEMSELVES A GREAT CLASSIC BARGAIN!!!!
THE CAR IS SOLD AS SEEN AND WILL NEED TO BE TRAILERED AWAY AS IT HAS NO TAX AND MOT BUT THE CAR CAN BE SEEN MOVING UP AND DOWN MY DRIVE IF NEEDS BE.
I'VE HAD THE CAR STARTED TODAY AND IT FIRED UP START AWAY WITH THE JUMP LEADS AS THE BATTERY WAS FLAT. 
IF I GET £1350 I'LL BE INCLUDING A LOAD OF BITS THAT I HAVE IN THE LOFT i.e FULL SET OF BLACK AND CHROME SIDE TRIMS, CHROME ROCKER COVER, POLISHED HEAD, CHROME GOLF GTI SILL TRIMS, SOME POWDER COATED ENGINE MOUNTS, CHROME RAD COVER, POLISHED INLET MANIFOLD WITH AUDI THROTTLE BODY, PIPER CAM BELT, HEAVIER GEAR LINKAGE WEIGHT, QUICK SHIFT LINKAGES, CHROME ENGINE PULLEY AND SOME CHROMED METAL HEATER CONTROLS ALL OF WHICH HAVE COST ME OVER £400 TO BUY OVER THE YEARS.
