Mk1 Golf Driver 1.3 Mars Red

Hi Guys,
The time has come for me to finally let go of my mark1 Golfjavascript:emoticon('')
Sad  as i have a new job that requires me to commute 40 miles a day, i need a diesel now!

The car is a 1983 (A REG) Mk1 Driver 1.3 in Mars Red(the best colour in my opinion)
It IS THE DESIRABLE METAL SUNROOF Model WHICH HAS NO LEAKS. It is in PERFECT working order!!!

Engine:
It is a standard engine apart from the Weber Carb i have put on her !
I have just replaced the following:
New alternator, New Radiator, New Shocks & Springs 800mil drop (only advisory from MOT was that left shock was leaking so i changed all four!),
New Distributor Cap, New High Performance Leads, New Points, New Condensor, Full service including change of all filters and fluids!, New Brake Discs & Pagid fast road pads.

After all of this i have just had it tuned and it runs & pulls beautifully, the mileage is  109, 000- very good for a car 24years old!

Interior:

Usual Rip on bolster and small rip on passenger/back seat- can easily be patched up- Oh forgot to mention it actualy hasthe red GTI Striped Interior!
Imola- itav lanti steering wheel (V Rare)


Exterior:

Untouched paintwork- Could do with a respray to get it show condition!
Nearly new RH Cups with goodyear eagle f1 tyres  (v expensive)!
Crystal crosshair front lights with crystal repeaters
half red crystal half smoked rear lights..
peco exhaust

Im sure you can appreciate how much time and money has gone into this classic. I love my golfs and would rather someone else enjoy it now as i wont be able to drive her everyday as i have been!

11 months MOT remaining and Tax'd until July Next Year!
