The time has come to sell the golf. I have owed this car from 23/3/07. I purchased it after I was after one for ages and this one popped up for sale down the road after seeing it that afternoon and taking it for a test drive I purchased the car the next day. This car was my daily driver until a month ago when I came into ownership of a new car and the golf was no longer needed. Since I purchased the car I have had a reconditioned gear box fitted at 104114miles at the cost of £617.35 receipt to prove, Master brake servo, pads and disks, fuel tank and fuel lines cleaned, new fuel pump, new fuel relay, replacement metering head, new battery, new clutch, new clutch cable, new dizzy cap, new leads and new spark plugs.  The car had a new dark blue mohair hood in 18/05/06. It also has a cat 2 thatcham immobiliser. At the moment the car starts and runs but the fuel pump makes a whuring sound after a little while and cuts out only if idling or at very low revs but the car starts first time afterwards. I had it taken to the garage and they cleaned all the fuel lines and fuel tank and had a replacement metering head fitted as rust got in their. Got the car back from the garage it ran fine for a week and the problem started again as described. Not sure if it's the fuel pump which was new about a year ago or the electrics to it. The Inside of the car is in excellent condition only the smallest of holes in the drivers seat under the back only visible when seat is in folded position but not even noticeable about 5mm by 5mm. Also some of the paint is flaking off on the bumper and wheel arch not rust just where the former owner done a really bad job of patching up the paint work pictures show this. At the moment the car has no stereo but I am fitting a CD player one as we speak. Any more questions please don't hesitate to ask either by phone or email. Viewing recommended by anyone. If you would like more pictures please ask and will be happy to send thanks for reading.
