Mk1 Golf Convertible - 1985

Here is one for all you people who want a totally original MK1.
Aug 1985 Mk1 Karmen Cabrio 1.6 GL. One owner since new! This car is in totally original condition with 133k miles & full service histoty. It has just had a full service with all new belts (inc cam belt) & all new fluids having been stored for last 3 years.  Interior is clean & tidy with no rips & hood has no problems..still original delivery sticker on rear window. I am selling it for my mother-in-law who has had it since new. It was purchased as a gift for her by my late father-in-law so has taken her a couple of year to agree to let it go to a new home. 12th OCT….I have just had car MOT'd & it failed due to emissions (sticking autochoke) & a broken front spring. It also had advisories on front discs (badly pitted..hey it has been stood for 3 years) & rear flexi hoses (starting to perish..not bad for 22 years) . All the above are going to be fixed by the garage so the car will come with 12 month MOT. However I will want the full asking price of ?750. A bargain!

Car is  now back from garage with clean bill of health & 12 months MOT. It cost me ?350 to get everything sorted so no time wasters please. ?750 is a fair price& car is priced to sell. There is no tax on car at moment but I am happy to negotiate this when I have a serious buyer.
