1870cc 16 valve engine( rebuilt with 83mm Audi pistons), 50 mm inlet runners with Mk2 gearbox, heavy duty (Mk1 Golf Diesel rear engine mount), Supersprint full exhaust system (tubular 4/2/1 manifold with three box system and chromed tailpipe), new injection lines & metering head (located in offside engine bay as per Mk2 16V), 16V servo & 22mm master cylinder,Audi 80 calipers with Mk2 16v 256mm discs, new lower wishbones, custom build adjustable lower stress bar, coolant hoses, radiator, Hella 4 headlamp grille, BBS RJ 14 x 6" wheels (just had rims polished by Dav at Pureklass), MJ black leather gear lever gaitor (not yet fitted), MK1 GTI seats re-upholstered in black leather, new Blaupunt head unit (needs fitting) with 6" door speakers & 9 x 6" rears fitted to custom build rear shelf, Hella 4 lamp grille, MK1 GTI deep front spoiler, hood replaced, top tint windscreen, Clifford Thatcham category 1 alarm/immobiliser fitted with remote central locking, headlight on/off & drive-away locking, new battery just fitted, resprayed in metallic pearlescent Forest green, filler neck replaced, armoured door plates, loads of history, piles of bills and interesting registration etc……… New head gasket and oilseals
