Price also includes all the parts in the back of the car. There's about 5 boxes of stuff crammed into it. Various new and used parts including arch trim, headlights etc etc.
MK1 golf 1.8 GU Carb engine from a MK2.
Currently has the MK2 clocks and stalks and steering column for later steering wheels. MK2 fuse box is installed with the wiring extended for the ignition etc.
The engine needs a few things connected like water pipes, a few bits of wiring for taillights etc but everything is there and works.
Not a bit of rust anywhere in the car. I can post pics of the underside if anyone wants to see it. It's spotless.
The arches are perfect
Boot lid smoothed, debadged and wiper delete.
New suspension
New seals around all the windows.
New Black textured arch trim.
New badgeless grill
New headlights
Almost all new Engine gaskets. Anything that wasn't replaced will be included.
New fuel and oil filters
Stainless steel back box
New exhaust mounts
I simply haven't got the time or space any more and I'm fed up moving it back and forward in and out of the garage to get room to work on other stuff.
It's probably the best project car you could buy as it needs very little bodywork (couple of wee dings) and is perfect for a wee spruce up. around the engine bay and interior.
Any pic requests let me know and I can take a few more.
More recent pics of the car. Ignore the wiring mess. That's all tidied away now. Headlights are also wired up and working.
