mk1 golf 1.1 model c (1.3) NEW INFO!

right just testing the waters here, i dont really want to sell but i'm not going to get round to finishing her to much on the go!
 
i bought this car as a project, ive spent a lot of time and money on it so far, started driving and ended up getting a 12 month ban on my licience, the car was only on the for the best part of 6 months and most of the parts were on the car for a month or two!
 
the standard 1093cc lump was near dead, so i put a 1043cc polo lump in, got the 4speed box
 
new parts that i can think of that only got used best part of 5/6months!

-brand new weber carb- £200
-brand new JOM coilover cost me £200 at the time
-new brake pads front
-new discs front
-new rear shoes
-new rear brake cylinders
-new handbrake cables
-new flexi cables front and back (goodbridge)
-new brake lines running from master cylinder all the way back!
-completly stripped back and re-undersealed
-rear subframe, fuel tank, wishbones driveshafts etc all sprayed! (pics in the albulm)
 -new fuel filler neck also sprayed
-new ball joints
-brand new radiator less than a months use!
-clutch was new from previous owner also clutch cable
-running bbs ra's 13" i got 2 new tyres ran for a month! 2 good
-recently purchased 2 front gti seats
-homemade parcelshelf, as one came with it well..was just a lump of wood haa!
-new door handles and locks ( new ignition barrel i have needs putting in i just used old one as its fine came with door handles)
 -got a sony xplod cd player bluetooth etc with remote controller
-had new timing belt less than months use!
i got a few spares you can have including front headlight and pas side smashed
i've probably forgot some stuff any questions please ask!


i changed the head gasket because the radiator was pressuriseing hence the new rad! put it all back together and still done it just not as quick, so it needs head skimming.

i then purchased a 1.3 lump which is currently in the car as i chucked it in to check its a runner, both engines can go with the sale. i've also recently purchased centre console, front and back black stripe gti seats, ashtray and put in a home made parcelshelf which very light.

maine bits that need doing are where the clutch cable goes through the bulkhead is cracked someone has tried to fix in past and not done a good job so that needs welding up, section on the back need welding where i have cut it to pull a dent out, i think they are the two main things for the bodywork then its just putting engine in and a respray.
 
also has a slight dent in front wing where someone has let there shopping trolly go by the looks of things, i'd advise coming to take a look as im probably making it sound worse than it is.
 
in all honesty i dont know what the car is worth so im going to start at £1500 see what is said, is worth a hell of a lot more to me and i've spent more than that on the car! located in dover, kent

right i've made this car sound worse than it is i was just being picky, interior is mint outside wants the odd bit here and there and would benefit a respray, the 1.3 engine has been sold seperate, the 1 litre is fine thats the engine i always used very nippy on the weber i promise! the only bit it will need is a small patch on the bulkhead for the clutch welding and it will fly straight through an MOT! just come take a look you wont find a shell as solid as this one, im desperate now and will accept a silly offer, this car owes me £1500 so for forum sake £1200 but try me!
