Mk1 GLi Cabriolet

Hi folks,

I'm selling my 1980 white mk1 cabriolet GLi. The car has done just over 111000 miles with all the original mots back to 1984. The good bits are :-

New clutch and clutch cable

New fuel pump and relay

New cam belt

New front discs and pads

12 1/2 months MOT

Good Michelin tyres on white 9 spoke wheels

Good exhaust

All panels straight with only one very small parking dent

Starts very well.

Wolfburg steering wheel.

Bad bits :-

Front wings rusty and will need replacing

Door bottoms rusty [ good pair of doors available by seperate negotiation ].

Front seats need new pads fitting.

Car bunny hops sometimes for approximately first 50 yards after starting but otherwise pulls beautifully.

Hood needs new spring but otherwise fine.

Bumpers straight but could do with repaint.

You could drive and enjoy the car for a year straight away and fit new wings and doors in your own time. I'm asking ?650 and live near Guildford Surrey
