MK1 Convertible for sale, Karmann, rare auto box, ?1500

MK1 Golf convertible for sale - mystic blue with grey hood. 1.8 GTI engine fitted with auto gearbox - fitted by Rolls Royce and Bentley Workshop in Chelsea. 2 owners from new (1st owner before my Mrs was the MD of Coutts Bank!!) 70,000 genuine miles, F reg with Karmann kit

Electric windows, radio/cassette, alloys (ruined by the wife), interior in good nick - small cigarette burn on drivers seat, otherwise good condition

Full service history - new head gasket fitted 2 yrs ago by VW Liverpool.

The body work is sound - however there are a few scrapes on the wheel arches, couple of dings in the bumper. To be honest it is a bit of a project but I havent got time to do it!

Its a really sound runner, quick, used daily and just needs a bit of time spent on it - reckon ?500 quid max on bodywork, new set of wheels - sorted!

Totally original car, no mods, nothing messed about with - solid
