This is the VERY! reluctant sale of my mk1 Caddy. I decided to go back to VAG and px'd my civic in for it on Thursday and me being naive assumed my insurance would be alot cheaper going from a 1.6 vtec petrol to a 1.6 diesel so I went ahead and swapped and drove home on the other guys insurance.. what i didn't check is that my insurance company (bell direct) doesn't insure vans. To cancel they offered me £290 of my £1249 back making cancelling and insuring the caddy out of the question..
The van is on a H reg, and is a Volkswagen caddy pick up 1.6 diesel 5 speed. it has only covered 102,000miles in its life time with various reciepts, MOT sheets and history. It has 10 months MOT and 10 months tax. the caddy has been fully restored to a very high standard and in the past year has had work with some receipts costing over £1500 including a respray in gloss white, fully undersealed (no rust whatsoever), new headlights, new bumpers, cambelt change less than 2000 miles ago and a full intermidiate service. the caddy has a set of white speedline alloy wheels which are quite rare with four basically brand new tyres, a side-exit exhaust which adds to the retro feel of the car (although is quite loud), the axle flipped and an after market cd player.
the only two bad points for the whole van is a small dent on the drivers rear arch and the passenger rear light is cracked, that is it!
Baring in mind i have seen a few around on forums and on eBay with more mileage, less tax and MOT and not as tidy for over the 2k mark I'm asking for £1800 priced for quick sale!!
the car is in Plymouth although I'm up and down from Bristol so may not be available for viewings 24/7. Many thanks.
