mk1 cabby white for sale on the road rolling project.

hi unfortunatly im going to have to let my golf cabby go as me and the misses are getting a house and wont be able to afford to run this and a van.

its a 1985 1600 karman golf gl cab

it got mot until 16th september and tax until october i beleive

its a clean little car really with a couple little scabs on the scutlle one on the boot lid and a bit of rot in the front of the drivers door.
 it has been painted before and could ideally be done again she does clean up very well

the pooberg carb plays up on light load and if you are kreeping in traffic at like 5mph then put your foot on the clutch to stop she stalls but always starts straight up again.
when your breaking fairly hard the pedal goes from under you but if you carry on going with the pedal she still brakes fine. im sure its the master cylinder and sure i have one that will fit from a mk2 golf which if i find i will put on for the potential buyer.

one tire is good the other 3 are legal but not great.

the roof hasnt leaked since i have had it but does have a couple of little tears in it but previous owner replaced the cables ect for the roof.

inside the seats are good the drivers has been stiched up on the bolster but is fine.

unfortunatly there is no history with the car apart from what i got with its which is only the mot as the owner before last lost it.

she has been lowered not sure what make the shocks and springs are but they give a realy comfortable road.
she had a service when i got her in may. she has had the gear linkage bushes ect replaced and gear change is brilliant no cruches whines or anything from the box.

she has a alarm imobiliser which operates centeral locking via a plip.
also has cd player and 6 x 9's in the rear parcel shelf.

basically this car will give you a couple months of fun in the sun then during the winter just tidy a few bits up ready for next summer







price wise i would like 650 ono pos p/x and cash for some decent vag wheels 4x100 why?
